1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to WeddingSync (operated by WeddingSync Technologies Private Limited, registered under the laws of Sri Lanka, hereinafter referred to as "WeddingSync", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or creating an account on our website (weddingsync.lk or affiliated subdomains), using our wedding dashboard, publishing custom couple wedding websites, importing guest lists, generating WhatsApp invitations, or purchasing wedding workspace packages, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

2. Account Registration, Eligibility & Security

To access our digital wedding workspace, you must register by providing accurate, current, and complete information, including:

• Full legal names of the Bride and Groom;
• Valid, accessible email address and active mobile phone number;
• Scheduled wedding ceremony date and venue location;
• A secure, confidential password with a minimum of 6 characters.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your workspace account. You agree to notify WeddingSync immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach. WeddingSync shall not be liable for any losses caused by unauthorized use of your credentials.

3. Public Wedding Websites & Custom Slugs

WeddingSync grants registered couples a license to customize and host a personalized digital wedding website featuring their couple story, ceremony timeline (Poruwa Nakath times / Church service), reception venue map, dress codes, and online guest RSVP forms.

• Subdomain / Slug Allocation: Couples select a personalized web slug (e.g. weddingsync.lk/sites/kasun-dilini). Slugs are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Prohibited Slugs: We reserve the right to reclaim, modify, or revoke any custom slug that infringes on registered trademarks, impersonates another individual or brand, or contains vulgar or unlawful language.
• Public Visibility: By publishing your wedding website, you acknowledge that content displayed on the public URL (couple photos, event locations, wedding dates, and RSVP forms) can be viewed by anyone possessing the link.

4. Guest List Management & RSVP Transmission

Our workspace allows couples to record guest names, contact details, table assignments, meal choices, and dietary constraints:

• Guest Consent: You certify that you have obtained consent from your family members and guests before uploading their personal details, phone numbers, or email addresses into WeddingSync.
• WhatsApp & SMS Messaging: WeddingSync provides direct link generators and messaging templates. You are responsible for the delivery and frequency of invitations sent from your personal device. We do not transmit spam or unsolicited commercial messages to your wedding guests.
• RSVP Accuracy: Guest responses recorded through the public RSVP page are logged automatically into your workspace. WeddingSync does not guarantee the attendance of any invited guest.

5. Packages, Pricing & Lifetime Licenses

WeddingSync offers three distinct tiers of wedding planning services:

• Free Starter Plan: Provides basic wedding workspace features, up to 25 guests, sample table seating, and standard wedding website access at no charge ($0 / Rs. 0).
• Premium Lifetime Plan: Unlocks unlimited guests, custom Poruwa / Church timeline builder, printable place cards, table seating chart engine, WhatsApp direct sharing, and complete wedding website hosting for a one-time fee.
• Luxury Lifetime Plan: Includes all Premium capabilities plus prioritized human support, high-resolution photo galleries, custom music playlist embedding, and dedicated wedding concierge consultation.

Lifetime License Definition: Paid upgrades are valid for the entire duration of your wedding preparation and retain active website access for a minimum of twelve (12) months following your wedding date. Prices are quoted in both US Dollars ($) and Sri Lankan Rupees (Rs.), inclusive of local platform processing charges.

6. Payment Methods, Bank Deposits & Slip Verification

WeddingSync supports three secure payment channels:

• Credit & Debit Cards: Processed instantly through 256-bit encrypted international banking gateways (Visa, MasterCard).
• PayHere Sri Lanka: Local debit card transactions, online banking transfers, and mobile wallet payments (e.g. Genie, FriMi, eZ Cash).
• Commercial Bank Direct Deposit & Slip Upload: Direct bank transfer to our verified Commercial Bank of Ceylon account (Account: 8010 4920 1834, Kollupitiya Branch).

7. Sri Lankan Cultural Traditions & Ritual Timelines

WeddingSync provides dedicated planning modules for authentic Sri Lankan ceremonies, including traditional Sinhala Buddhist Poruwa rituals (Magul Bera, Betel leaf offerings, Pirith Nool, Pan Wedeema, Jayamangala Gatha, Kiri Rathraya) and Christian Church liturgy.

Couples are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of auspicious Nakath times calculated by their personal astrologer or cultural officiant. WeddingSync provides editable templates for organizational convenience and disclaims liability for ceremonial delays or astrological discrepancies.

8. Content Ownership & Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain complete ownership of all photographs, couple stories, bios, custom messages, and guest lists uploaded to your account. By uploading content, you grant WeddingSync a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license solely to host, display, and format your content for the operation of your wedding website.

WeddingSync IP: All proprietary platform algorithms, source code, visual designs, illustrations, brand trademarks, Poruwa ritual databases, and user interfaces are the exclusive intellectual property of WeddingSync Technologies (Pvt) Ltd. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, or resell any part of our platform.

9. Acceptable Use & Code of Conduct

You agree that you will NOT use WeddingSync to:

• Upload, post, or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harassing, hate-speech, or violates privacy rights;
• Transmit spam, unauthorized promotional advertising, pyramid schemes, or unsolicited bulk messages to guests;
• Upload files infected with viruses, malware, trojans, or malicious software;
• Attempt to circumvent security safeguards, access other couples' private data, or overload our servers;
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any individual, vendor, or official entity.

Violation of this policy will result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account and forfeiture of any paid fees.

10. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Because WeddingSync provides instant digital activation and unlocking of downloadable guest lists, custom website publication, and seating tools:

• 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: If you experience verifiable technical malfunctions that prevent the use of your paid features, and our technical support team cannot resolve the issue within 48 hours, you are entitled to a full refund within seven (7) calendar days of purchase.
• Wedding Postponements: If your wedding date changes, your paid package remains 100% valid. You may update your wedding date, venue, and countdown anytime through your workspace settings without any rescheduling fee.
• Non-Refundable Circumstances: Refunds will not be issued once custom websites have been actively accessed by public guests for more than 7 days, or where account termination occurred due to violations of our Acceptable Use Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

WeddingSync is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WeddingSync, its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, guest attendance failures, venue cancellations, or vendor disputes arising out of your wedding preparations.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the total amount paid by you to WeddingSync during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the substantive laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any controversy, claim, or dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall first be submitted to good-faith mutual negotiation. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

13. Modifications, Support & Contact Information

WeddingSync reserves the right to revise these Terms periodically to reflect legislative updates, platform enhancements, or new payment options. We will notify active users of significant revisions via email or platform announcements.
